Hanger shows minor age to leather to leather, but appears to be unissued/unused with no wear to leather or stitching and only minor age to steel fittings. 1936 Chained SS Dagger Teardrop Hanger. An example of this pattern hanger is pictured on page 47 of Third Reich Edged Weapon Accouterments. Black leather teardrop hanger with attached belt loop features a polished steel box-type clip on obverse that connects to the upper clip of chain hanger. Reverse hanger is stamped, "SS 78/34 RZM". Luftwaffe Under-the-Tunic Hanger w/Protective Tab.
Light brown fabric strap with adjustable metal clip and brown leather tab with ring was sewn into the tunic to attach to the dagger. Cased Early Luftwaffe Officer Brocade Belt & Dress Aiguillette. Aluminum brocade facing with black/red lines is MINT with Luftwaffe blue tricot wool backing and both keepers. Near MINT heavy silver buckle with gilt droop tail eagle shows superb detail with only light surface wear/age patina. Matte aluminum aiguillette grades Near MINT/MINT and is complete with proper cord but missing the slide on the short cord (long cord does not require a slide). Luftwaffe EM Leather Belt & Buckle. Dark brown leather belt shows surface wear with no rips or tears and with reverse belt size stamped, "90" (cm). Belt is complete with unmarked bright aluminum belt buckle which shows surface wear to aluminum Luftwaffe eagle, oak leaf wreath, and pebbled background. Buckle features the early 1935 pattern droop tail eagle and has the rare crank catch normally used by paratroopers. Nice example recently obtained in Germany with the early pattern belt buckle. Rare Variation Black Leather RAD Officer Dagger Hangers w/Belt Loop. Rare black leather hangers feature standard RAD Officer pattern straps with pebbled buckles, slides and lower spring clips attached to a wide, box-type, Assmann marked upper clip. The hangers are complete with a matching black leather belt loop with RAD and Assmann marked wide clip. Rare RAD Officer Over-the-Shoulder Hanger w/RAD-Marked Clip. This rare hanger features gray fabric over-the-shoulder strap with adjustment buckle and retaining strap. Variation Early RAD Hewer Hanger. This early hanger appears to be a variation of the hanger shown being worn on page 36, right, of Third Reich Edged Weapon Accouterments. The unmarked brown leather hanger consists of a 6" long belt loop and lower buckle section with a large protective leather piece added to the lower edge of the strap. In addition to the lower protective piece, a small 1 ½" long brown leather loop has been added to the upper portion of the belt loop section. The purpose of this strap is unknown. !Diplomatic/Government Official's Dagger Hangers w/RARE Gilded Fittings. These hangers show light wear age to the silver herringbone pattern aluminum bullion facings and black velvet backings, but no rips, tears or fraying. The upper clip, buckles, slides and lower clips are constructed of gilded aluminum showing light wear to highlights with loss of gilding primarily to the lower pebbled clips. As stated on page 137 of IN THE SERVICE OF THE REICH by John R. Angolia, "The metal fittings were…finished either in aluminum or gold, depending on the pay group of the wearer". Hiler Youth Leader Brocade Belt/Buckle w/RZM tag. This superb belt measuring 45cm in width features bright aluminum bullion brocade facing with two 5mm wide black stripes showing virtually no wear or age and is complete with both brocade keepers. SA brown gabardine backing has no rips, or tears; however, there are two small moth nips, and is complete with paper RZM tag marked, "U4/3" and "No. 004577". Belt is complete with round 55mm diameter silver-plated buckle showing only light age patina to the polished surfaces of its high relief central HJ eagle clutching HJ diamond inside ribbed border with, "Blut und Ehre" motto in high relief letters. NEW! Pre-1905 Royal Prussian Jäger zu Pherde Officer's Sword Hanger.The Jäger zu Pherde (Mounted Rifle) Regiments were the last Cavalry units to be organized in the German Army. They were organized between 1895 and 1913 culminating in a total of 13 regiments on the troop lists of the the German Army that entered World War I. The uniform of these units was a gray-green color with a blackened polished steel helmet of cuirassier pattem. M-89 Cavalry swords were carried suspended from sword hangers of gold lace on green leather backing. This hanger, measuring 11 ¾" in length, is constructed of 5/8" wide gold bullion lace with a center green stripe on a pigskin embossed gree leather backing. Attached to the upper edge of hanger is a rectangular gilded brass box type fitting with gilded brass regain chain. The lower hanger is complete with a rectangular gold plated buckle with black enamel lower clip. Imperial Prussian EM Belt Buckle. Unmarked, Model 1895, 45 mm buckle is constructed of brass with nickel alloy insert consisting of Prussian crown bordered with “Gott mit Uns” inscription and oak leaf sprig. Buckle shows age/patina, but appears unissued.

Royal Bavarian Brocade Dress Belt. RARE belt was recently purchased in Germany from the estate of Zeugoffizier Joseph Sachenbacher, Artillerie-Werkstätten München. Research in the 1914 ranklist of the Royal Bavarian Army reveals Zeugoffizier Sachenbacher was serving as a Zeuglleutnant with date of rank of 03 March 1911. The belt, measuring 43mm in width feature silver bullion brocade facing with two, 5mm wide, alternating, Bavarian blue silk thread stripes, is complete with both brocade keepers, and navy blue, wool backing. Belt is complete with round 45mm diameter gilt buckle showing only light age to the highlights with 100% of the honey gold finish remaining in the recesses of the oak leaf border and center Royal Bavarian Crown. RARE brocade belt and buckle recently in Germany.
