Long Third Reich Municipal Police Bayonet w/Frog. Roman helmet and sword, without company name (P.D. Luneschloss, Solingen) TM. Aluminum, un-slotted hilt fittings show excellent detail to the eagle head pommel and oak leaf embellished crossguard with surface wear/age/patina to highlights only. Nicely toned stag horn grip plates show slight surface wear, but no cracks or chips with darkened Third Reich Police grip emblem properly pinned to obverse plate. Plated blade measuring 33.2cm in length is bright, showing minor wear/runner marks and some loss of plating where blade was shortened. Blade is complete with black leather buffer pad. Black leather scabbard shows light surface wear/age with no damage to reverse stitching. Nickel-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age/patina with some loss of plating to the bayonet lug, Upper fitting is retained with an obverse center mounted round head screw, and is missing the reverse retaining staple.
