Early SA Dagger w/Hanger. Carl Eickhorn, smooth tail squirrel within small double-oval TM. Nickel silver fittings show minor surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard group marked "Wf" (Westfalen). Reddish-brown, fine grain wooden grip, with early quality grip-to-crossguard fit, shows light surface wear with no hairline cracks or chips, and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX+ showing light runner marks and minor gray shadowing/speckling to obverse/reverse, but no nicks to cutting edges. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of the original brown anodization with minor wear/speckling primarily to obverse/reverse shell with minor oxidation to lower edges of shell, Nickel-silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age with a tiny depression to obverse/reverse lower fitting, but no damage to lower ball or to retaining screws. Brown leather hanger grades EX+ showing light wear/age to unmarked leather with age patina to early nickel-silver buckle and unmarked upper clip. EX+ (25928) $995.SOLD
