Centrally located in the etched panel is the presentation inscription in raised Gothic letters, "Unserem Verehrten LT. Pick, das Uffz. Korps. 7 I.R.119" (Our honorable Lieutenant Pick, the NCO Corps 7th Company, Infantry Regiment 119). Interspersed within the etched panel and between the oak leaf motif is a facsimile of a heavy artillery piece, a soldier wearing steel helmet, and a crossed sword & spade. Reverse blade features a 14 1/8" long etched panel with the same stylized oak leaf motif as on the obverse, with a facsimile of an open-winged eagle/swastika in the central etch panel. Interspersed between the oak leaf motif is a facsimile of an aircraft above a parachute, as well as two soldiers with a machine gun.
