Medium orqange celluloid grip shows light surface wear with several hairline cracks to the lowert reverse and an area of missing celluloid surface on the right edge adjacent to the pommel, but no damage to the tight twisted silver wire wrap. Plated, double-etched blade grades EX+/EX++ with minor surface wear primarily to lower blade, but no nicks to cutting edges. Obverse blade features the Bulgarian Simons' crown and Cyrillic "B" (cipher of King Boris III - 1918 - 1943), while the reverse bears the Cyrillic inscription, "Za Nami Boga" (God is with us). Blade design is the same as the German Army dagger and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, silver-plated German Army Officer pattern scabbard shows light surface wear with overall age patina and some factory lacquer remaining. There is a casting flaw to the lower obverse edge of the upper oak leaf suspension band and scabbard throat is attached with one flat head center mounted screw. EX+/EX++ (25575) $1,750.
