Description
Marker mark is by Christians – Solingen – GES.Geschulzt. Blade has some runner marks, some minor graying, and has been sharpened which was common for the HJ knives. Tip of the blade remains intact. The blade is etched with “Blut und Ehre!”. The bakelite grip is in EXC++ condition. The HJ swastika inset is very unique colored in red with gold arrows on all four tips of the swastika which is shown as a Camping Knife based on page 240 of David Littlejohn’s book “The Hitler Youth”. He states that there were several variants. The hilt shows age/wear. Scabbard has some scratches and retains 90% of paint. Leather shows normal age/wear with the clasp showing great wear on the outer edge of the snap part.
