Bronze plate over zinc Cross shows no wear or age to finish or to the red/white/black ribbon in Near MINT condition. Tan paper issue envelope shows light surface wear/age and is stamped in black on the obverse in gothic print, “Kriegs=Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter”. Reverse envelope is maker marked, “Klein & Quenzer A.G. Idar-Oberstein 1”. Nice example recently veteran acquired in the state of Maryland. NearMINT/MINT
