2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger. Knight’s helmet over WKC Solingen TM. Airplane gray frosted aluminum hilt fittings show light wear/age to the oak leaf embellished pommel, well detailed eagle on the crossguard langet with raised oak leaves on the upper quillon surfaces. The pommel swastikas show wear to factory frosting and appear to never have been gilded. Medium yellow, solid celluloid grip with tight twisted wire wrap shows minor wear/age with age toning on the lower obverse but, no cracks or chips. Plated blade grades EX/EX+ showing minor surface wear/runner marks and uniform gray shadowing but, no pitting, or nicks to the cutting edges, and is complete with brown leather buffer pad. Dent-free scabbard shows surface wear to the gray frosted finish with some surface oxidation adjacent to the oak leaf embellished suspension bands with portions of factory frosting remaining in the recesses of the pebbled panels. The scabbard throat is retained by one, side-mounted retaining screw. EX+ (27005) $625. HOLD
