WKC WAFFENFABRIK, SOLINGEN with armored knight’s torso TM etched to obverse. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear, but no lifting or crazing to pommel and crossguard with art deco stylized RLB eagle on obverse langet. Black wooden grip shows almost no wear and no cracks or chips. Second pattern RLB starburst insignia is properly pinned to the obverse grip and shows minor chipping to enamel and wear to silver-plated over copper starburst. Blade grades EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks and no speckling or hazing and no nicks to the cutting edges or damage to the black leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains 100% of the original black enamel showing only minor surface crazing, but no lifting or scuffing to shell. Dent-free nickel-plated lower scabbard fitting shows minor darkening to the upper reverse, but no lifting or crazing and no damage to the flush-mounted, headless retaining screws. The integral black leather hanger grades EX with a rusted clip.
