WKC, Solingen, knight’s helmet TM. Silver plated hilt fittings show light wear/age/patina. Much factory darkening remains on the pommel. The crossguard features the 2nd pattern “tomahawk” beaked eagle and is in excellent shape with minor discoloration on reverse. The dark yellow grip is age toned darker on the obverse with two small chips on the reverse, but no hairline cracks or other damage. The blade shows minor wear/age/runner marks and retains 90% of the original cross graining with no nicks to cutting edges or damage to the needle-like point. The silver-plated pebbled scabbard retains 80% of its silver finish, however, the end of the scabbard has been pinched and is dented with minor metal separation. The scabbard throat is fixed with one retaining screw and the scabbard is split above this screw point. The dagger is complete with EX+ D.R.G.M. hangers and original portepee. A nice Army dagger acquired in Germany long ago.
