Beautiful Carl Eickhorn Roon saber. This is the Model 1716 from the popular Eickhorn Field Marshall series of sword (see page 178 of my Volume V). Anyone seeking a near MINT Army sword would have to be well pleased. Original gold wash on the hilt is 100%. Eickhorn trademark is “squirrel looking over shoulder”. Comes complete with a near MINT Army sword knot and brown leather hanger. Purchased as a complete ensemble in Germany. Beautiful condition sword. Near MINT.
