ROBERT KLAAS, SOLINGEN with “kissing cranes” TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show mild patina and light wear to oak leaf embellished pommel, ferrule and crossguard with well-detailed eagle. White, wood-over celluloid grip shows almost NO surface wear and no damage or chips. Polished blade grades near MINT showing very light runner marks and much cross-graining. Silver-plated scabbard shows light wear with nicely detailed pebbled panels and oak leaf suspension bands with no dents or depressions. Portepee is correctly tied and shows fraying to chords. Dagger is complete with set of hangers showing light wear and marked D.R.G.M to clips. Included in this grouping is the original owners Reise Pass (Travel permit) and two studio photos of the officer and this dagger in wear.
