Description
Epaulettes are for a Captain assigned to the 143rd Infantry Regiment stationed at Strassburg and Mutzig in Alsace. Epaulettes are constructed of red felt. Strap is edged in silver/black bullion braid, with a gilt metal crescent at the sleeve end. Inside the sleeve end oval area are gilt numbers, “143”, indicating Regiment #143, as well as two gilt pips for the rank of Captain. Epaulettes come complete with their original black cardboard figure eight-shaped case lined in blue cardboard. Beautiful set of epaulettes in original case. Near MINT (19106)
