Maker marked, quality silver-plated badge retains 100% of the factory frosting behind central swastika and within arms of Cross which show minor age patina. Reverse surface shows virtually no wear/age to the factory frosting and is complete with barrel-hinged flat style pin retaining 100% of the frosting and maker marked “1” (Deschler & Sohn, München). Black leatherette case with paper hinge, grades Near MINT/MINT with exterior lid stamped with silver facsimile of the War Merit Cross w/Swords and interior lid lined in artificial white silk with lower fitted portion of case covered in black velvet.
