EMIL VOOS, SOLINGEN TM (snake with tree trunk). This 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger is equipped with choice generic fittings and has the pebble pattern style pommel with oak leaves going around a double circle which encloses a swastika on both sides. This swastika still has a good portion of the original gilt remaining across the surfaces being at about 80% on the obverse and maybe 70% on the reverse. The pebbling throughout the pommel is also nice and crisp. The crossguard is also the type featuring the large pebble pattern on the reverse. The grip is a genuine bone example and has a light crack which runs down the obverse center and also a couple of cracks on the upper grip segment. There is a tiny, miniscule piece of bone that looks to be missing just where the grip meets the pommel but it is nothing. Nickel plated double etched blade grades EX++/Near MINT and features the correct floral pattern and eagle to obverse for this maker. Dagger is complete with undented scabbard.
