(Friederich Geigis, Solingen – Foche) (Stylized script “FG” monogram) within double-oval TM. Nickle-silver hilt fittings show faint wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard SA Group marked “Wf” (Westfalen Dark, reddish-brown, fine-grained wooden grip features early quality grip-to-crossguard fit and is complete with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX++ showing minor surface runner marks and some gray shadowing, but no pitting, nicks or damage to the perfect tip. The deeply etched motto retains most of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free scabbard retains 70% of the brown anodization and factory lacquer on the obverse/reverse shell with a small hole to edge of scabbard. Upper scabbard fitting is professionally engraved with three line dedication: “Dem Besten Schutzen, des Sturmes, Sturmbann I/R 130”. Translated: “to the best marksman, the Sturm (presented by), Assault Battalion I/R 130”. The dent-free nickel-silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina with a few minor age spots, but no damage to the lower ball or to the retaining screws. The brown leather hanger is marked DRGM and “A” for Assmann. Nickel-silver clip and buckle grades EX+ showing minor age to leather and fittings.! EX+ (27033) CONSIGNMENT
