Description
Army promotion document for Major (W) Friedrich Schneider promoting him to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on 17 January 1941, Document shows almost no wear/age and has not been folded. Hard stock folder shows very light age with gold embossed Nazi eagle to cover and intact twisted string properly securing the document. Document features Adolf Hitler and GFM v. Brauchitsch facsimile signature along with gold embossed “Im Namen Des Deutschen Volkes”. The 1939 rank list indicates that Major (W) Schneider was assigned to the “Heeresnebenzeugamter” in Tubingen.
