Description
The 1933 pattern DRL badge was modified on 01 September 1937 to incorporate the swastika. This example retains virtually 100% of the factory lacquer with no damage to bronze finished oak leaf wreath with swastika over a bow at the bottom surrounding the intertwined initials, “DRL” (Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibsubungen). Reverse of the badge retains 100% of the factory lacquer and is maker marked, “Petz&Lorenz u.Reichenbach Wttbg.” and “D.R.G.M. 35269”. Badge is complete with proper barrel-hinged flat pin.
