Description
M-89 Imperial Sword. WEYERSBERG & Co, SOLINGEN along upper blade spine etched TM. Gilded hilt shows minor wear to flat pommel, grooved knuckle-bow, and obverse folding handguard with the Prussian Eagle. Black, sharkskin grip with horizontal grooves and triple strand wire wrap shows minor wear but, no damage. Straight, plated blade grades EX++ showing light surface wear but, no nicks or damage to cutting edge. Steel, nickel plated scabbard shows dents/speckling throughout and is the earlier version with two scabbard bands but, only one scabbard ring. Upper scabbard is missing one scabbard screw. Sword is complete with incorrectly tied portepee showing age and grades EX+. EX+ (27965) $685.
