ALCOSO, SOLINGEN and AWS with scales scarce TM. This miniature, measuring 10 ¼” in length, features aluminum hilt fittings which show surface wear to well-detailed pommel and crossguard, with some surface corrosion to reverse crossguard. Medium orange celluloid grip shows light surface wear, with one tiny chip on lower reverse adjacent to ferrule. Grip is nicely age toned with obverse being darker than the reverse, and is complete with tight twisted wire wrap. Plated blade grades excellent++, showing only light surface wear/runner marks, and is complete with blue felt blade buffer pad. Silver-plated scabbard shows excellent detail to pebbling and to lower oak leaf embellishment, with one faint depression on lower edge. Nice Alcoso miniature with scarce AWS scales TM. EX+ (27748)
