BAK 10. 8. 36. in “T-Square” and embroidered numbers “02010S” above “36”. Stitched below production stamp is Sailor’s name tag “VIEREGGE” and tag stitched to inner pocket with ink stamp: “196”.    Superior quality dark blue wool jacket shows light wear with NO damage or staining to material and is complete with all buttons. Bolero/Spencer style jacket features simulated double breasted  upswept peak lapels and small lay down collar and vertical, front opening with nine, stitched button eyelets to each side. Top button eyelets are cut open with the lower eight being decorative. Jacket includes a retaining shackle chain, with dual buttons worn through the top button eyelets. The jacket features vertical, parallel row of nine “blind” ornamental buttons to each side of the front breast panels with an additional button positioned beneath each lapel. Right breast has hand embroidered, national eagle in gold celleon on cut-out navy blue wool base. Lower left features two sets of correctly sewn loops for combat decorations. Left sleeve features sewn insignia consisting of double chervron Stabsmatrose rank (as per 1936 regulations) below celleon signal career field indicator. Interior of jacket is fully lined in black rayon with off-white, black and purple striped sleeves. Buttons are gilded, stamped alloy with embossed fouled anchor on a horizontally ribbed field with simulated twisted rope outer border and appear to have their original stitching.
