Description
SMF Solingen seated king TM. Nickel-silver hilt fitting show age patina to the pommel with portions of factory lacquer remaining in recesses of crossguard with perfect black enamel on the crossguard quillon block swastikas. The tip of the right crossguard is Waffen-Amt stamped. The blue leather covered grip shows minor surface wear with no rips, tears or fading to the leather and no damage/lifting to seam. Plated blade grades EX++ showing only minor surface wear/runner marks with no gray shadowing/speckling or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, blue leather covered scabbard shows faint surface wear with no rips or tears with no damage/lifting to seam and perfectly matches the grip color. Nickel-silver scabbard fittings show age patina with portions of factory frosting remaining, with one small depression to lower scabbard fitting. Scabbard throat is stamped with the DLV winged propeller and superimposed NSFK swastika. The integral brown leather hanger is complete with silver planchet, unmarked clip and brown leather belt loop grades EX+ showing surface wear and fraying to leather at clip.
