Description
This aluminum NSFK Flyer’s Knife with Hanger & Belt Loop is maker marked by F. & A. HELBIG, STEINBACH KRM. The aluminum hilt fittings show light wear and grade EX++. The enameled swastika is centered perfectly in the crossguard and appears in perfect condition. The grip and scabbard have pebbled blue simulated leather. The plated blade grades near mint, with full cross graining present, showing light runner marks and one minor nick near the tip on the obverse side of blade. The knife is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Scabbard is dent free, straight, and aluminum scabbard fittings show little to no wear, the upper scabbard fitting has the owner’s initial “M.W.” in the lower ringed area of the fitting. The scabbard screws are intact and there is no damage to the lower ball. Scabbard throat is stamped with the NSFK winged Icarus. The black leather hanger is complete, with little to no wear.
