RZM M7/68 (Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co, Solingen) etched TM. Plated hilt fittings show light age/wear with NO speckling/lifting to plating of upper and lower crossguards. Furniture quality, medium red-brown grip shows almost no age with one or two very minor depressions but, no cracks or chips. Grip eagle and SA insert are properly inset. Mirror polished blade grades near EX++ showing almost no wear/runner marks and no nicks or cuts to the cutting edge with 99% of the cross-graining present throughout. Deeply etched motto retains 99% of the artificial blackening to the background. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the period black enamel and shows some very minor paint chips and a spot of missing paint to reverse upper scabbard. Plated silver scabbard fittings show almost no age and no dents or scratches with NO damage to ball. EX++ (28971)
