Description
Maker marked Wilh Kober & Co, SULH with a Centaur (half man/half horse emblem over “GEGR 1874”. Nickel silver fittings with “Sa” stamped on reverse of lower crossguard. Bronze colored eagle insignia inset in wooden grip. Blade has full motto etched in the obverse side of blade and shows runner marks and a few small nicks in the lower part of the blade. The scabbard has been repainted, complete with all scabbard screws and a couple of small indentations in the side and bottom of the lower scabbard ball. Scabbard upper and lower fittings are metal and not nickel/silver. The hanger is marked RZM L2/5/39 with DRGM on the reverse side of the clip. Exc+
