Description

This Paul Weyersberg (sword inside wreath, double oval) TM blade with gilted ricasso was obtained in Germany as leftover Solingen stock and, based upon the quality and source, may well be original Third Reich production blade.  Plated double-etched blade measures 31 1/2″ in length featuring a 15 1/2″ long etched panel with raised oak leaves flanking a center frosted blue panel.  Obverse panel is inscribed in raised Gothic letters, “Meine Ehre heisst Treue!” while the reserve panel is inscribed in raised letters, “H. Himmler” (facsimile signature) and “Reichsfuhrer-SS” in Gothic letters.  With thread.   MINT, unissued
