No maker. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show minor surface age, but no lifting to the upper edge of the pommel or crossguard with excellent detail to the Red Cross emblem on the obverse langet. Black bakelite grip plates are perfect with no cracks or chips. Polished, double sawtooth blade grades EX++/Near MINT showing only light surface wear/runner marks with graying, pitting or nicks to the cutting edge. The obverse blade ricasso is stamped, “Ges.GesshutzI”, and blade is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the original black enamel showing only minor surface scratches to enamel with two very faint depressions to the lower reverse shell. Dent-free nickel-plated scabbard fittings show only minor surface wear with unturned screws in the upper fitting. EX++/Near MINT
