No maker. Black bakelite grip plates show only minor wear with a small scratch to the lower reverse plate adjacent to the lower retaining screw, but no cracks or chips, and no damage to the retaining screws.  Polished double sawtooth blade grades EX+/EX++ showing light gray shadowing to flats of blade, but no nicks to the cutting edge and no damage to the sawtooth spine. The ricasso is without a “Ges.Geschützt” stamp, but is complete with burgundy felt buffer pad. The steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the original black enamel showing minor surface crazing to the obverse/reverse shell and a few nicks to the left and right edge with a VERY faint depression to the lower obverse/reverse shell. Dent-free, nickel-plated scabbard fittings show light surface wear, but no lifting to plating and no damage to the scabbard throat retaining screws. The black leather, 4-rivet,  triple-stitched construction frog shows minor wear/age to leather with the obverse upper left rivet plate missing, but no rips, tears, or damage to stitching. Upper reverse is maker marked, “PAUL KLOPFER BERLIN 1938” (Paul Klopfer Lederwarenfabrik, Berlin-Nord, Chausseestrasse; fvz). EX/EX++.
