Description
A Model 1933 SA dagger by RZM 7/49. The blade has the acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/49” maker marks; both are dark and crisp. The tip has a perfectly sharp point, shows common runner marks and rates EXC++/NM. The steel based, dent-free brown enamel painted scabbard retains 90% of its original paint. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are dent free and the ball is still intact. All four dome head screws remain intact. The nickel-silver plated crossguards are in good shape with minor lifting on the edge next to the grip on both sides of the lower crossguard. The grip shows a few chips on the obverse side. The eagle and SA roundel are perfectly inset into the grip with the roundel retaining 100% of its enamel. The brown leather hanger is in EXC++ condition, the hanger clip has the OLC in a diamond logo stamped on the reverse side and the spring is tight and works properly.
