Carl Eickhorn Solingen, etched squirrel holding sword TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/dark “gun-metal gray” age patina to the well detailed oak leaf embellished pommel, ferrule and crossguard with superb detail to the eagle and swastika on obverse langet. Medium orange, solid celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks, nicks or chips. Plated blade grades EX++ showing light surface wear/runner marks to flats of blade with minor surface scratches on lower blade, but no pitting or nicks to cutting edges, has a small dent to tip of blade, and is complete with brown leather buffer pad. Silver-plated scabbard shows light surface wear, dent in tip of the scabbard, and dark “gun-metal gray” age patina matching the hilt fittings to shell with portions of factory frosting remaining on upper scabbard and throat. Scabbard is complete with the thick throat and reverse, center mounted, flat-head screw often seen on Eickhorn Army daggers. EX++
