Carl Eickhorn Solingen, etched squirrel holding sword TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/dark age patina and portions of the factory darkening and frosting to oak leaf embellished pommel, ferrule and crossguard with superb detail to the eagle and swastika on obverse langet. Medium yellow, solid celluloid grip shows minor surface wear with a chip to the edge of two grip swirls on the upper obverse and center reverse, but no cracks. Polished blade grades EX+ showing light surface wear/runner marks and gray shadowing to flats of blade, but no pitting or nicks to cutting edges, and is complete with light brown leather buffer pad. Silver-plated scabbard with one small depression to the lower obverse shows light surface wear/dark age patina and portions of the factory darkening matching the hilt fittings. Scabbard is complete with the thick throat and reverse, center-mounted, flat-head screw often seen on Eickhorn Army daggers.
