Uncleaned dagger features heavily silver-plated hilt fittings showing surface wear to highlights and dark gray age patina to the eagle head pommel, backstrap, ferrule and crossguard. Simulated nicely age-toned mother-of-pearl grip plates are perfect with no cracks, chips, or damage. Polished blade grades EX+/EX++ showing surface wear/runner marks and speckling but, no nicks or cuts to cutting edges and is complete with original dark blue felt buffer pad. Dent-free silver-plated scabbard shows dark age patina matching the hilt fittings with no lifting or damage and with superb detail to the pebbling and to the oak leaf suspension bands. Dagger is complete with correct portepee and grades EX+ showing wear and some oxidation to bullion. EX+/EX++.
