SMF, SOLINGEN with seated king holding sword TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show age patina to the pommel and crossguard with perfect black enamel on the crossguard quillon block swastikas. The tip of the right crossguard is stamped with the Waffen-Amt and the letter “K”. The tip of the left crossguard is also stamped with the letter “K”. The blue leather covered grip shows minor surface wear with no rips, tears or fading to the leather and no damage/lifting to seam. Plated blade grades Near MINT showing only minor surface wear/runner marks with no gray shadowing/speckling or nicks to cutting edges and is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, blue leather covered scabbard shows surface wear and three small areas were the leather has been scuffed and slightly damaged but, no tears or lifting to seam and matches the grip color perfectly. Dent-free, nickel-silver scabbard fittings show age patina and are complete with undamaged scabbard screws and no damage to the lower ball. Scabbard throat is stamped with the NSFK Icarus symbol and Waffen-Amt “96”. The integral black leather hanger is complete with silver planchet, unmarked clip and grades EX+ showing surface wear but, no rips or tears to leather and age patina to silver fittings and clip.
