RZM 7/66 1940 (Carl Eickhorn) TM. Plated hilt fittings show no wear and only minor speckling to obverse and reverse upper crossguard along the seam of the wooden grip. MINT, dark, furniture quality, fine-grained wooden grip is perfect with no cracks or chips and is complete with grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Blade with cross-graining grades EX++/near MINT showing minor surface runner marks, but no pitting, nicks or damage to the perfect tip. The deeply etched motto retains 98% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free scabbard retains virtually all of the brown paint to the obverse/reverse shell. The dent-free plated scabbard fittings show almost no wear and absolutely no loss to plating.
