Description
Beautiful hand-painted Bavarian Imperial Regimental Beer Stein belonging to a member of the sixth company, 23rd Bavarian Infantry Regiment 1898 – 1900. Hand painted center motif consisting of 23rd Infantry shoulder strap, Bavarian Crown, crossed flags, drums, bugle and spiked helmet. Stein features unit roster and patriotic mottos to bottom and top. Porcelain, painted scenes and thumb lift/top show very minor age/wear with no damage or cracks. Thumb lift is slightly loose and consists of Bavarian Crest and lid consists of seated soldier in full field gear and rifle. EX+/EX++ (28358)
