No maker. Ricasso is marked GES GESCH. Plated hilt fittings show surface wear with detail to the Red Cross emblem on the obverse langet. Black bakelite grip plates have no cracks or chips. Polished, double-sawtooth blade grades EX++ showing only minor runner marks, graying/speckling, but no nicks to cutting edge and no damage to the double-sawtooth spine. Blade is complete with black leather buffer pad. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 85-90% of the black enamel with scratches throughout due to wear. The dent-free, nickel-plated scabbard fittings show minor surface age/wear to the factory plating but, no damage to the fittings or the retaining screws. The black leather frog shows wear/age with scuff marks throughout, stitching is intact and 4 rivets are present. The reverse side of frog is personalized with the initials “jkh 41”.
