ORIGINAL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN with squirrel holding sword TM. Early production nickel plated hilt fittings show light surface wear/age to pommel, D-pattern knuckle-bow and crossguard with NO lifting or pitting. SS runes are correctly stamped to underneath of crossguard. Black grip shows only light wear with no cracks or chips to the grip and only minor wear to the patinated silver police grip eagle. Polished, matte finish blade grades near MINT showing almost NO wear and NO pitting, lifting or nicks to cutting edge and is complete with white leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the original black enamel showing almost NO wear and only a few minor specks of missing paint. Nickel-plated upper scabbard fitting shows light surface wear with much of the factory darkening remaining in the recesses of raised guilloche design and features the correct SS markings.
