Description
The later, better-known trademark features an embowed arm holding a spear, encircled by “Klittermann & Moog G.m.b.H. Haan b/ Solingen.” In 1935 Klittermann & Moog used a unique etching template for their RZM M7/29 mark, which included a decorative “M”. Blade has some runner marks, graying, a couple of nicks to the cutting edge, and lightly sharpened which was common for the HJ knives. The tip of the blade remains intact. A leather buffer pad is present. The Bakelite grip is in EXC++/Near MINT condition. The HJ diamond inset is loose but intact with no chips. The hilt shows age/wear. Scabbard is missing the majority of paint. Leather strap shows age/wear, is soft, but all rivets and snap are intact.
