Description
Seated king over SMF SOLINGEN TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age patina. Underside of crossguard and scabbard throat have matching numbers “172”. Dark blue leather grip is missing some of the blue leather on the upper obverse section, has a few nicks to the reverse side of grip, and is complete with tight silver wire wrap. Plated blade grades EXC++ showing light surface wear/runner marks, and a very tiny nick to the cutting edge. Complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Blue leather covered scabbard shows wear and age to leather, with scratches throughout, and a long scrap down the edge of the lower section, plus a few nicks on the reverse side. Upper, center, and lower scabbard fittings show wear/age patina with a couple of minor dents to the obverse side of lower fitting. A nickel-silver chain hanger featuring 9 upper and 14 lower rings shows light age patina with no damage to the rings or connectors and is complete with unmarked nickel-silver upper clip.
