Description
Carl Eickhorn etched squirrel holding sword TM. The hilt fittings show light surface wear with factory darkening remaining in the recesses of the well detailed “heart-shaped” pommel, and eagle & swastika crossguard with style incised oak leaves on the upper surface of the quillons. Medium orange, solid celluloid grip shows light surface wear, chips on both sides near the pommel, one hairline crack near pommel and is complete with tight springy aluminum wire as used by Eickhorn. Plated blade grades EX++ showing minor surface wear/runner marks but no lifting or nicks to cutting edges. Blade is complete with leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains virtually 100% of the original factory gray finish. Portepee is tied to grip and shows wear with some fraying.
