“Tiger” “Solingen” trademark by Luftwaffe officer’s for ceremonial purposes. Aluminum hilt fittings show slight wear/age to pommel, upper ferrule and crossguard retain 99.9% of original gilding to swastikas. Dark blue Moroccan leather grip shows some wear/age and is complete with double wire wrap. Plated blade shows light surface wear/runner marks and one small nick on each side of cutting edge. Blue Moroccan leather scabbard is dent-free and shows minimal scuffs and no loss of leather. Aluminum upper, center, and lower scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age and are complete with all four flush-mounted retaining screws. The upper and center fittings each have a hanger ring and a nickel/silver plated alloy hanger complete with ”Ges. Gesch.” and “oLc” marked on reverse side of clip. Dagger is complete with correctly tied portepee showing little discoloration and some thread fraying.
