Description
The reverse ricasso is maker marked Rich. Abr. Herder – Solingen encircling an etched double diamond. The blade has light speckling but no chips or nicks to cutting edge. The tip comes to a perfect point. Complete with leather buffer pad. The steel-based scabbard has dark patina but is dent free. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The alloy based, nickel silver plated eagle crossguard provides beautiful details. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. The orange trylon grip is in near perfect condition with no cracks or chips. Complete with properly tied portepee that is fraying mostly around the crossguard.
