No maker mark, but most certainly manufactured by Gebrüder Godet & Co., Berlin. Silver marked “900” to pin, and “21”, establishing this decoration as one of 1943 issue. About 50mm across. Silver and white enamel construction with barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch. Detailed silver work exhibits a lovely patina. Enamel within the Maltese-style six-point cross shows some slight indentations and speckling throughout. Enamel contained within the wreaths is perfect. Case shows some wear to top corners, with the majority of wear located on the bottom. Some fraying to the inner silk at box hinge. A very nice decoration!
