Description
No maker with ricasso stamped “1947”. Brass hilt fittings show light age and wear with mother – of – pearl grip showing no damage or cracks. Brass scabbard features the Romanian seal within an ornate frame and scabbard bands consisting of oak leaves and acorns. Lower portion of scabbard shows 2 – 3 minor depressions and surface dis-coloration throughout. Blade grades EX++ showing only light wear and very minor sharpening to one side of the cutting edge. Complete with leather buffer pad. Dagger is complete with yellow hangers which grade Near MINT showing almost no wear/age. Hangers feature oval buckles with the Romanian Crest and four clips as hanging devices.
