Description
Carl Eickhorn etched squirrel holding sword TM. Raised eagle/swastika on the obverse langet. The blade measures 33.5 inches in length and retains its mirror shine grading Near MINT with no pitting or nicks to cutting edge and the tip of blade remains intact. The brass hilt shows wear/age and has the embossed oak leaves and acorns on the wide P-shaped guard as well as the pommel and ferrule. The underside of the P-shaped guard is marked “GES. GESCH”. The grip has triple wire tightly woven and shows normal wear with no cracks or chips. The leather blade buffer is in place. The dent free steel scabbard retains 65% of paint and has numerous scratches throughout.
