Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard marked “Th” for Thuringen. Fine-grained furniture quality brown grip with early production quality grip-to-crossguard fit shows light wear/age and one deep scratch to lower obverse.
Silver grip eagle and SA insert are properly inset. Polished blade grades EX showing light surface wear/runner marks with speckling throughout and no nicks to the cutting edges. Deeply etched motto retains 80% of the light gray background frosting. Steel scabbard retains approximately 65% of its crudely re-painted black finish. The nickel-silver scabbard fittings show minor surface wear/age one minor depression to the lower scabbard fitting and ball.
