Description
“H & F. Lauterjung W. Solingen” trademark. The blade is bright, has runner marks and minor graying on both sides, no nicks/pitting to edge and tip remains in a point. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto retains 100% gray frosting. The grip has no chips with a very tiny hairline crack on the lower part of the grip near the crossguard. The eagle insert and SA roundel are properly inset. The nickel silver crossguards show age but have no lifting, and the lower crossguard reverse side is marked “Wm” for Westmark. The steel based, brown anodized, dent-free scabbard has some scratches on both sides but retains 90% of the finish. The solid nickel silver scabbard fittings show age/wear with minor scratches and a few indentations. The tip of the ball is dented slightly. All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact.
