E.P.&S. – SOLINGEN with Wagnerian figure wielding hammer TM. Nickel silver hilt fittings show surface wear/age patina with reverse lower crossguard SA group marked “Wf” for Westfalen. Brown wooden grip shows light surface wear with no cracks or chips and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades EX++ showing surface wear/runner marks and light speckling but no nicks to the cutting edge and the tip of blade remains intact. Deeply etched motto retains 99% of the dark gray background. Reverse Röhm inscription has been ground away with tips of some letters in the dedication remaining. Steel scabbard shell is missing the majority of its brown paint and its nickel-silver fittings showing light surface wear/age patina and light depressions to lower fitting with dents in the ball. All four screws remain intact. The brown leather hanger grades EXC++/Near MINT and the hanger clip works perfectly.
