Description
BOKER, SOLINGEN with stylized “tree of life” in ornately framed TM. Very nice early SS dagger with nickel silver fittings showing some wear to inset eagle, SS runes and grip showing some imperfections with a decent chip to the lower obverse. Lower crossguard is group stamped “III” for Berlin. Blade shows speckling and spotting with deeply etched motto retaining 70% of the light gray background frosting. Scabbard shows some surface wear with most of the lacquer remaining. Dent-free nickel silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear/age patina.
