Complete with genuine ivory grip and genuine Damascus blade. The Damascus smith was Paul Dinger whose name is stamped on the tang of the blade, “Paul Dinger Damastchm”. Nice matching patina throughout, and beautiful detail to all of the metal parts. This rare dagger has most likely been hidden here at JRB&M since we occupied the building in the 1980’s and was recently found. Fredericus daggers are in great demand and there presently is a Fredericus 2nd Navy dagger on the market with an asking price of $28,995.00. We have personally never seen a Fredericus Navy dagger, but only Army and Luftwaffe (usually with ivory grips and Damascus blades). This dagger was held aside until more research could be conducted on Fredericus.
